Actebis now property of Droege Capital GmbH
Düsseldorf, September 16, 2009 – Six weeks after Droege Capital acquired the IT and telecommunications distributor Actebis, the transaction was finalized following approval by the Federal Trade Commission. With this step, Droege Capital now owns the entire Actebis group, including all subsidiaries in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden as well as the telecommunications distributor NT plus active on the German market.
“Actebis itself, the IT sector as well as banks and financial institutions without exception reacted positively towards the transaction. We look forward to pursuing further development of the Actebis group together with the established management and to assessing different growth options,” said Frank Tanski, CEO of Droege Capital GmbH. Following its business model, Droege Capital GmbH, which regards itself as “Evergreen Investor” pursuing a consistent buy-and-build strategy, the company considers acquisition of Actebis to be a long-term investment. In the last months, Actebis has already proven the ability to hold its ground successfully despite the generally difficult economic environment and a consolidating market.
